Default Make up and you

It has been always said that you should wash your face before sleeping if you use make up. Experts suggest that long hours of make up on your face damages the skin deep down. Washing the face before sleeping is essential to remove the day long dirt, sweat of day long and pollution. Skin specialists also say that at the night the pores need to be left open to breathe and our skin works on its own to repair the damage done during the day. The cells of our skin have there own process of renewal among themselves dead cells are removed and new cells take there place. It also prevents premature aging of the skin.

I believe that getting rid of any type of make-up as soon as we are in the comfort of our own home is the most effective way. If I use make-up, I don't wait until the bedtime to remove it. It's best to clean it up to let the skin breathe as early as possible.

I don't wear that much of foundation, which is I think the most important part of makeup to remove since it covers a lot of your face. What I use the most is eyeliner, drawing thin very lines. I don't use separate makeup remover for foundation and eyes, I have found one that does a great job on both.

I'm not a fan of makeup in general. But when I do wear it, I prefer that it come off as soon as possible. My face feels....heavy...when I wear makeup.

I really need to follow this tip. I can honestly say that I've never washed the makeup off my face.. at least not the same day that is. I've never had any trouble from it, but I'm sure it's not good for you.

I once watched a TV program about a woman who never removed her makeup, and it was rather heavy, too - tons of mascara and eyeshadow. She'd go to bed with it, and then wake up in the morning and do touch-ups, correcting what she thought was not good enough. Her skin wasn't bad becuse of it, but the whole thing did not look natural. They made her go through a makeover, during which her makeup was radically reduced - and she looked so much better after that.
