Lipsticks talk a lot about you so make sure they do not talk negative. It you think that you have applied your lipstick too dark then take a tissue paper and blot the lipstick on your lips with it. You can then apply a lighter shade of any lipstick of your choice and put some lip gloss or lip balm on it. Never apply lipstick over your lips or the lip line and if you have done so take a tissue or a cotton pad or a sponge to remove the unwanted lipstick over the lip line. For cracked and dry lips apply a cold cream and pat it with a wet tissue. You can then apply a lipstick on it but make sure you use natural shades. Another piece of advice is that any time you use the lip balm or lip gel please use it miserly do not over apply it.

If I have chapped lips, I use chapstick under my lipstick. I think it helps them to be more smooth. I hate it when someone applies their lipstick outside of their lipline and it looks like they have been eating spaghetti sauce and have it stained on their lips |

Well said antkmom!! It does look very unnatural. You can still see the lip line, and you see that the lipstick is applied where it does not belong. It might be less noticeable from afar, but come a little closer and it looks ridiculous.

Chapstick under lipstick... that is actually a great idea! I always find Lipstick drys out my lips. Thanks for the tip!
