One has to be very careful with the eye make up because if it is not done in the right way your entire face makeup will go for a bounce. No matter how expensive is the dress that you are wearing you will look cheap. Your hair may be styled the best way but all will go bonkers with a bad eye make up. So please do not color you eyebrows too much and if you have just brush some powder over them. And for a dark eye shadow that has been applied too much again blend some powder over the lid and put some light color eye shadow over it. If your mascara or eyeliner smudges then use cotton pads to remover the mascara or the eyeliner that has spread.

I've noticed, there are a LOT of elderly ladies who put on WAY too much makeup. I don't know if it's that they can't see how dark it is, or what, but it just looks frightening lol

Lol, they just want to feel young again that's why. What annoys me is LadyGaga's heavy eye makeup. She's pretty without it and I think all her makeups makes her look ugly.

LOL. My mom always told me the secret to putting on makeup is so that it looks like you're not wearing it. That stuck with me all these years. I always try to fix my flaws without looking like Mimi from the Drew Carey Show.

What is light eye makeup... eye liner , mascara, eye shadow,lash curler,all seem like heavy duty stuff to me

Lady Gaga is pretty silly haha. I can't help but like her though. You can tell she doesn't care what people think of her, that's for sure

I think too much make-up will make you look older or look perhaps like a drag queen. I knew one woman who had a ton of make-up on, and I thought that she was a cross dresser, so I had no idea if she was a man or woman.

Hahaha. I've come across a few of them. I was like, OMG that IS a woman?! WOW! hehehe

Older women tend to put dark make up to cover their wrinkles. Light make up won't seal these wrinkles.

I think light make up will best suit younger generations. But for elderly, I don't think they will agree to use lighter make ups.
