People sometimes consider products such as makeup and perfume a luxury rather than a necessity. Has the economy affected your makeup or perfume purchases?

No, it hasn't. I have not been over-indulging in that department before, buying only what I need and when I need it, and I keep doing the same now, even though the crisis has affected our family. When you only buy a new mascara when you need it, you don't spend that much.

I have never been one to purchase a whole array of make-up and perfumes. Thus, I haven't made any changes in purchases in that department. A good perfume lasts very long time as you only need to use very little of it, as for the make-up, I hardly ever use it, so it's easy for me to keep a control on these expenses this way.

I don't understand why someone would have 5-10 different mascaras - except that they couldn't control themselves and wanted to try them all. It is rather wasteful since mascara lasts only about 3 months, from what I know, and you can't possibly use them all up so quickly.

Lol! Who's has such obsessions in make-up to keep 5-10 brands of any make-up. Mine is also not affected since I don't buy much and I rarely use my make-ups lately. On perfume I still got almost a bottle full of my bvlgari one which was given to me last christmas now it's almost christmas again. )
