You can love everyone and anyone, but many find that if you say you love someone it means you love them as in another way, for example if you if you say you love a male friend of yours they may think you literally love him, if you say you love a female friend and some may think your not straight.
You can love different people in different ways and love for each person is different, expressed differently, felt differently and all. Its also possible to love everyone, you can never be short of love.
