Has anyone married their first love? My first love ended up being a jerk! Guess I didn't get the whole concept of loving each other. I am so glad to have finally found the man who loves me as much as I love him.

So how many loves have you had before you found the perfect true love?

I haven't married my first love but I married someone I love when I was in high school.

I wish I would have met my current bf first, but then again, I wouldn't have learned from past relationships so maybe him and I wouldn't have worked out. He came into my life at a very random time and made me realize what I deserved in a guy. He's everything I want and need. I dunno how it took me so long to realize that I wasn't happy in the past. Weird!

I think this is the first time I've ever been in true love. In the past, I thought it was love and I don't regret those relationships, because I learned from them and did have a lot of great times that I'll never forget. With him, I can't imagine things not working out, I can see so far into the future with him. I've never been able to think too far ahead.

As sad as it sounds, in past relationships, I always saw the end, I just didn't know when the end would happen. I tried to make them work and tried to prove myself wrong, but I always knew somehow things wouldn't work out.

I can totally see myself marrying him. The thought both terrfies me and makes me so excited! Gives me butterflies every time I think about it.

I didn't marry my first love. The first love will remain as he is. We can't be together though we understand that our love for each other will stay the same. I love my husband and I am so lucky to have him.

My first love wound up being a homosexual. We dated for 8 years then it took me around three or four years to get over him completely.

I was with my ex for 5 years. He was for sure my 1st love and he will always be in my heart. Too bad he's a self-absorbed jerk that could give a fuck about me. No, I haven't married my 1st love, but no one can predict the future.

Luckily i am still with my first love hoping and praying for a life together. But destiny decides. One thing i can say, First love;no matter how much pain it would inflict on me, it would never leave my soul. I will never stop loving him and will always pray for him.
