I got married within a couple of days of meeting my wife.

I think there is a disconnect. In the US cheating usually means having an affair.
Probably what Abeja meant. Let's see what she meant.

I'm really confused right now haha, but yes, I meant cheating as in sleeping with someone other than your partner
