It used to be common practice for a husband to have a mistress. That is no longer acceptable. It IS common practice for men to look at other women when he's already made a commitment to one women. When are we going to stand up for ourselves and say "we aren't art!!!" We are not objects to be browsed by men. Why should your man be allowed to sample (even with his eyes) what another woman has to offer? If he's perfectly happy why should he want to? Men get away with it because we let them. But really how many women out there are really okay with it happening?

I'm tired of letting a man degrade me because he doesn't think he should make a strong commitment to me. When I'm with someone I choose them, I am no longer interested in other men in any way. Why should it be different when a man chooses a woman? Why shouldn't he stop being interested in other woman in every way? I say let's make it stop, just like we made misteresses and multiple wives stop. It's happening because we let it. Who's fed up enough to make it stop?

I find it really frustrating that men can do things that we can't. Honestly, I think if anyone wants to be with multiple people, as long as everyone involved is aware, it should be fine.
