I never thought I wanted kids, but Chris makes me think twice. I really love him and know he would be a wonderful dad. My friends were right, I just had to meet the right guy to want kids and marriage.

Why you didn't want to have kids? I think it’s really great to have kids; obviously not so soon but eventually yes! I was afraid that I couldn't handle the pain but now there are techniques where you feel less pain. Before planning my pregnancy I just need to plan for future things & fix priorities.

Well, growing up, my mom was gone a lot and I was forced to stay home and babysit 24/7. It was VERY hard on me. I wasn't allowed to go out much and was just stuck at home. I'm not ready to do that again. Although, I do stay at home all the time hehe. Well, one day I can see me having them. I'm sure it would be a very rewarding experience

It is very rewarding, but it's the hardest job you will ever have to do. Unfortunately kids don't come with a handbook so you have to just get on with everything the best you can. Kids are also expensive, so my advice would be to start saving because they go through nappies like there's no tomorrow.

I will make sure to save first for sure. I know how expensive it can be lol..

Everyone is different. For some reason people assume that every woman wants to be a mother above anything else. It is not so. I am one of those who has never wanted children. If you ask me why, I will answer the question with another question: Why would I want it? To me, nothing about it is in any way appealing. It's a tough 24/7 job.

Being with the right man does help though.

I know exactly what you mean, and really.. I know for sure I won't have kids for a long time, if I even have them at all. I'm very greedy with my money haha, and would like to save it for me, not spend it all on another being. If I was rich, sure, but I'm not haha. Maybe one day I'll have lot of money

I don't think you are "greedy," you just know what it takes to earn a dollar, and kids are expensive, yes. Among everything else, child rearing puts a financial strain on you, so it is wise to think of that beforehand.

After going through the posts my notion of every girl aspiring of having thier baby is gone with the wind.. Till now i was under the belief that for every women it would be a cherished dream to bear a life in their life, to have a baby which is gonna complete them..(husband & wife)..just like i wished for..

Now am wondering what if our parents had thought the same way.??we wouldnt be here if our parents too had thought that way..??
Motherhood is a gift from god..and i really feel for those who cant concieve a baby..
