Default What You've Learned

I thought it would be fun for all of us to share things about love that we have learned along the way. What do you wish you knew when you were younger?

Communication is so important. So many problems can come up because of misunderstandings. Also, waiting for sex isn't a bad thing. I wish I could go back and still be a virgin today. I would also want to tell myself not to rush into relationships, and have a good few months in between relationships to make sure I'm over my last bf before moving on to the next. Without that, things get very complicated!

That's a great point. I wish I could go back and not care about all the little things like I did. It really makes life so complicated. I was always stressed about nothing.. worrying about what others thought. None of that matters, and I've learned that in losing my grandma last month.. she taught me a lot. Life is too short to worry about the little stuff. Things always work out in the end

If we are talking about a long term relationship I would have to say that I have learned that you need a lot of understanding and sometimes you just have to bite your lip to keep the peace.

As your relationship goes on and your family expands you have to start working together more and be more understanding of each others needs and how you can help your partner.

I have learned that our loved ones are the most precious blessing we have in our life. Yes, they may say or do something that annoys us, perhaps we'd want to see them change in some areas. But in many cases it is not that important. Just imagine this person gone from your life, and you will see how little those things matter.

I think both of you are right. We can learn so much from each other and better our relationships.
