Default I'm in love!!!

Have you ever fell in love? How did you know that it was already love and not infatuation or admiration?

According to Kenshin Himura of Samurai X, "The moment you find the courage to give up your life for someone would be the moment you'll understand love."

Wow, how deep the meaning of love then. So I think I will never understand love at that level. We should learn true love from Jesus though.

Love lasts far longer than infatuation which will wear off after some time. Admiration can be a great basis for love, but it has to be more than that. I think I knew it was love when I felt like I couldn't live with out that person and yes, I would be willing to die for some of the people I love.

Ah there are many types of love. Infatuation is often one-sided, and lust is two sided but revolves around sex most of the time. Love is being selfless for someone else, breathing them with every moment, and feeling like you are part of them. When you are apart, you feel that there is a hole in your heart that only their return can fill.

I believe that love is about action rather than courage. People sometimes say that they would die for another; however, saying and doing are not the same thing. Love is putting others before yourself coupled with unselfish motives. For example, if you gave a kidney to someone that was dying but the reason you gave the kidney was so that people would think well of you or for publicity, then that is not love. Love is difficult to determine because we are not always honest with ourselves.

The way i understand love is related to generosity. To understand that someone loves you, is to recieve something from him/her.. Words are not enough. It must go with action.

In my whole life ,i only fell in love once. . I'm sure he was that perfect person i'd ever loved most.. until now he is implanted in my heart. . LOVE is unforgetable.

True love is selfless, and it is not afraid of neither time nor distance. You can separate people, but true love will remain. When I hear that someone had moved away and found a new boyfriend / girlfriend, that tells me they did not truly love the previous one.

I agree with you, Lissy. True love knows no conditions and knows no bounds. Whatever happens or whoever tries to come in between, love will still prevail. Ah, bliss!

I was told that you know that you are in love when you stop being selfish. Everything is about that person's happiness and not your own. You stop trying to take advantage and start trying to give the advantage.
