Do you think each of us only has one person in the entire world that is right for us?

I think it's a nice concept, but I think there are many different people in the world who would be compatible with each and every one us. A lot of who you end up with, in my opinion, depends on luck and availability.

Someone may have been good for you when you were 16, but as you grow, you may grow apart and your wants/needs may change, which will in turn drift you apart from each other.

What are your thoughts?

I don't believe that there can only be one right person for us. Our thoughts and feelings change as we evolve in life and what makes us happy at one time doesn't necessarily do that same for us later. On the other hand, we might go through several relationships and finally meet the person that is most compatible with us to stay with them. That just doesn't mean that the other people were wrong though.

I believe that there is one person who is meant for us, but I also think that there are others who would be perfectly compatible with you and with whom you can have a good life.

I like that, I agree. Each relationships is its own learning experience and without the past experiences, we may not have been able to make it work with the person we end up with. Each person will hold a special place in our hearts.. touching us in different ways.

No, I don't think there is such a thing as 'the one'. It has more to do with where you are in your life at the time that you meet someone and fall in love.

I'm a freaky combination of cynic and romantic. I don't honestly think that The One exists. However, I really really wish I did. If that made any sense...

I just wish that the one i meet is the one who is meant for me and is compatible with me. more than any one else... Let him be the only one for me.
