Default Mother or Father?

Who are you closer to, your mother or your father?

I would have to say my dad. My mom and I never really got along. My dad is more sociable and can listen better

In my case, it is definitely my mom. Dad was not much of a talker, he was a good man but I did not know much about what was on his mind and heart. I guess some men just need to open up a bit. As to mom and I, we talk all the time, share things, help each other through things.

I feel so lucky to have a dad that takes the time to get to know me and really keep up with me. I know a lot of people who have dads who are very distant. If I ever have kids, I would want to be really close to them

Another unpleasant thing that I see is parents who won't leave their adult children alone, pestering them with endless requests or even demands in some cases. Don't get me wrong, I fully agree that we owe a lot to our parents. I will do all I can for my mom. But she is not the selfish type I am talking about, either. Those will keep asking for things that they could either do themselves or hire someone to do, yet they think it's the children's job to do it.

What you mention is the definition of my father.. it's so annoying. He's always trying to guilt me into doing things. Drives me crazy, but I love him

I was very close to my dad, but he died when I was just 14 years old, so it did leave a big gap in my life. After that the relationship between my mum and I became very strained and we didn't get on for a long time.

I think it's fair to say my mum is a bit of a strange one, but I know if I need her, then she would be there for me in a flash.

I am very close to my mother and my relationship with dad was not so friendly as he never cares to talk or understand..
Its always been my mom who was always there to support and care,..i share everything with her..
Without her life is nothing.. I love her a lot and owe to her evrything that i am now...

So you hate your week eye??? Which incidentally is the one which needs more care and love.
