It will always mean a lot because nothing will ever be that way again.. learning things together for the first time, your very first kiss. Even if all these things were with different people, they will be very important parts of your life

Well it depends on what your first love was like, something memorable or just college love which was not that meaning.

Sometimes for some people its hard to forget their first love, but if you find someone who loves you more presently, then you are able to forget your first love whenever it may have been

You bring up a really great point! After meeting my current bf, the closer we become and the more I realize that he really, truly cares for me, my past seems to be fading away. It is a great feeling. I never want to completely forget my past, however, because it made me who I am today. When I'm honest with myself, I don't regret any of it, because there were good points in every struggle. Just wish I hadn't hurt people along the way..
