Cheating occurs in many relationships and everyone has their reasons and think there are causes for it on why one may cheat on their partner.

But there seem to be two thoughts on this!

- People get into relationships, and there is a rush of love and passion, which with time fades away with some couples. Then as time goes on you get attracted to someone and temptation to move further gets irresistible and give in. When getting attention and potential rush from another person apart from your partner then its hard for cheating not to occur.

- People do not cheat on purpose and are not biologically driven to do so. If you see an attractive person, that does not imply you have the urge to sleep with them, but instead it occurs when there are differences in ones relationship and there is some incompatibility. Frustration in a relationship drives both a man and women to go apart from each other and therefore more vulnerable to cheating, and if there is some who fills this gap in the relationship then the person in the relationship (man or women) will cheat.

What do you think makes someone cheat on their partner, adventure, different kind of relationships, dissatisfaction in the relationship or with the partner?

I guess some people cheat because they can't stay with a single person for very long or they do not know how to be in a relationship with a person. There's always so many reasons that people cheat.

I think people cheat because they aren't happy in their current relationship, or they are looking for a quick thrill, or something more exotic in their sex life.

Same with me. Maybe one of the partners are not happy with their relationship. There might be something lacking in the relationship. Or maybe they don't click. THey are very opposite that they do not enjoy the company of each other.

I think most the time, people cheat because they aren't getting the love they need. If they feel ignored or not wanted. Why people don't just leave when they feel this way, I have no idea. Sadly, I cheated on my ex. It is something that I know will haunt me the rest of my life. It's the worst thing I've ever done and I would do ANYTHING to take it back. How he forgave me, no one will ever know.. I didn't feel worthy after that...

IMO cheating happens when you are not able to give your 100% in love or relationship, we can not just call it cheating but in other words we can say its our failure to win the person for lifetime.

Many people cheat just for fun or to explore something new but others cheat to fulfill there needs and to feel on top.
