How do you know that the person you think you are in love with at the moment is the real love of your life, or your soulmate? Are there signs? How do you determine if he is the one really meant for you?

I think it takes time to fall in love. I know some people say they fall in love at first sight. But for me it takes time. I might be attracted at first sight, but not in love. I think some of it is the feeling of loving the person, but then there are other things. Like are you compatible? Do you have common interests? The longer the relationship continues, the more those things become important.

I think you can feel it. The feeling is different compared to other boyfriends. I felt this when I had a boyfriend. at first I didn't realized that he is sort of my soulmate. but after having relationship with other man, and eventually, we still found our way together. I felt that time that he is my soulmate. and he can feel it too. but I also believe that all soulmate can end up together. that's why we still parted our ways, but the feeling is still there.

I make good use of my feeling, my intuition LOL. I mean it. If I feel comfortable being with someone, and we feel like familiar with each other though we just met for minutes, I believe that the person is for me.

Have you found the one your looking for? You have to pray for it. Love is patient. It comes during the times that we didn't search. I don't think it could be explain but when you accepted the person as to who and what he is, then it could be love. You have to assists yourself.

Very nice post! Tough question.. Well, I have had a few times in my life where I thought I was in love. Now, with my current bf, it just feels NOTHING like it felt before. I mean, I feel I didn't know what love was until I met him. I know it sounds so corny. It's hard to explain the signs, but I can explain a few things about him that may help you relate to your situation:

**Waking up next to him in the morning is just the most comforting feeling.
**I know I can tell him anything and he won't think different of me. (I've messed up many times in my life.. just done some dumb things)
**He shows me he really cares about me and thinks about how I'm doing. The way he always asks me how I'm feeling. (I'm going through some major withdrawals from my depression meds lately, cuz I'm tryna quit and he's just so cute how he's always checking up on me)
**He'll make sure I'm eating and drinking enough.. it's just amazing. I've never had anyone care for me this way. It's soooo great!
