I know you probably hear this all the time, but it is true. In order to love another and to be ready for a committed relationship, you must first be happy with who you are.
I think way to many people jump into relationships before they are ready. They find someone because they are lonely or they feel they need be with someone, because that's what everyone else is doing. However, that's not the case. If you get with someone for the wrong reasons, the relationship probably won't last.
Learn to spend time alone. Learn what your goals in life are and what you like to do. What is it that you think would help you along the way? What would hold you back?
Don't rush into things. When you meet the right person, you'll know

You really have a nice post, Abeja. That is very true. We must learn to love ourselves first before anyone else. Even though I am married, I still find some time for myself. It's very helpful in a relationship. It helps me weigh and think things over. I would even tell him I wanted some space. Do you do that as well?

Yes, i also agree with your post. Someone told me before: "Always remember to love yourself first. It's not being selfish, its actually allowing yourself to better serve others."
