I just want to know, how long would you keep a suitor? Would you let them wait for days, weeks, months or years? My friend doesn't like his suitor before but, because of his persistence and patience, he was able to get the "yes" after one month. How about you? |

I don't not like long courtship because I won't be able to see the true identity of the person because for sure while he is courting me he only shows his good qualities. so I won't keep my suitor waiting, may a one week wait will do.

My sister had a suitor before and he courted her for one year. However, they still didn't end up together. I wonder, how important is courting nowadays?

For me, long or short courtship doesn't really matter. Why will you make it long if you have plan to answer him "yes"? I guess, it's better to answer it now and see if the relationship will works. |

Well I agree kyles if you really like the guy then give him an instant yes then do some evaluations. Why let him wait when your answer will be yes in the end. Although in my HS days I feel terrible when I let down my suitor who has courted me for almost a year. o.O
