How would you define love?

What does it actually mean to love someone or to show your love for them.

In my opinion love can not really be defined, yes you can show it by the way you act with someone, the way you behave and gesture them, but when it comes to defining i find it difficult. There are actually lots of ways of defining love but then it would be different for everyone, such as love for your parents, love for your husband, love for your friend etc.
