my SIL is married for 4.6 yrs ~ 3 yrs trying for kid & unsusefull.she had a abortion 2.5 years before ,just after few days she knew she was pregnant.They went through all BEST medication.They r styaing in my FIL's one of the house SINCE MARRIGE paying only 3000 RS WHEREAS acutual rent wud be soemwhre around 7000.LAST YEAR my FIL SPENT around 2 lakhs money on the house my sil staying to make vastu changes as astrologer has told & other renovation work accoding to my sil's family conveinece.Recently we took a FLAT(OLD )in the same compound of my inlaws.My SIL also wanted 2 buy but didnt happened becoz of finance issue.Now my SIL wanted to move to that flat as AGAIN astrolger has told to change house. 1)shud v allow for this as she wants to move with an attitude that this house will bring her pregnancy waht if nothg positive happens? 2)wat rent v can expect as she isn't paying proper rent to my FIL and this FLAT of ours is BIG & expensive as well for SIL.we bought this flat even though its old is; soemwhre v wanetd to invest our money safely so that in form of RENT V get RETUR income.Also for my FIL it will be easy to look after as its in the same compund 3)My SIL's present house is only 2 kms away so she is alreday getting very much support form my inlaws in all the ways. Its been 20 days since my FIL has told us over phone that my SIL want to move our FLAT.But neither my SIL nOR HER husband called us to discuss this.Looks like they have taken us granted that v hav to give the flat for rent to them.Right now RENOVATION of the FLAT is going on.My FIL is telling this & that has to be changed/repaired.My MIL spoke 2day to me & told that my SIL wanted to move in the mid october. Really not getting how to deal with this situation

Have you discussed this with your husband? what is his opinion?

i HAVE DISCUSSED WITH MY HUSBNAD he has an YES/NO opnion as its her sister.Moreover we r abrod & all these things disccsed over phone.There is no face to face interaction to see my IL's recation IF V SAY NO.
wat reason can i give my husband so that either he or i can communictae with my SIL diplomaticely that we don't want them to move into our FLAT.

you better have a talk with the astrologer who your in-laws are seeing.....
well.,on a serious note., if its just the rent matter then dont go for lame excuses you just talk straight to your SIL what you are expecting...that would be better..

s v wanted to be strict wen to comes to rent but i am 100% sure my SIL will say,so much ...some lesser amt: only can give many soem innocent face,during which time its very difficult.untill vr trapped for life long.we can't even ask them to vacant after 3-4 yrs.My IL's r very tactful & smart wen it comes to mesmerising pople by talks.
Aprt from Rent if any Finacial crissi comes within SIL's family also will affct us indirectly.But HUSBAND IS not understanding all these
I want to HELP my SIL but not at the COST of LOSS TO US.

Good idea, better talk to him than your sis ...
after all it would be interesting to find out how that particular house is going to help in her procreating

Another solution would be to bribe the astrologer and ask him
to tell her SIL that the flat is not good for getting pregnant.

And another solution would be to say some excuses like you are planning to come over to the flat for stay.. something like that..

As mentioned earler currently we are staying ABROAD & plans to stay here for soemtime.So we can't meet the Astrologer to get exact Informatio or say that we are going to shift to the flat in near future.All our conversations are on telephone.My sil IS GOING TO /WANTED TO SHIFT ;THES deatils are being communicated thro my MIL & FIL.My sil or her husband is not talking on this.For coursety sake also my SIL or HER HUSBAND IS NOT TALKING ON THIS ISSUE ,that's y getting very angry & irritated.They have just taken as GRANTED.
I am sure just before few days of thier shifting house they wud just inform us ,so we are like puppets ,whatever they say need to agree like.

why don't you call them and talk to them directly???

hi farce wen my FIL called 20 days before he told us to call my Sil ,BUT they wanted the HOUSE from us ,so they shud call us not we calling & asking take our flat ofr RENT.but now its past 20 days ,if we call now don't know how will the things be... My fil &MIL R UPDATING THINGS TO US AS THOUGH MY SIL can't talk on this issue..
Few past instances abt my SIL;
1)wen i hubnad went abroad for project purpose she wud say ,get me this &that like camera ,mobile etc she will pay money she will tell her budget & ultimatley e happens that i hubby gets some HIGH END ONES & we don't take money & or simply the situation will be turned away in thier way.
My husband gets almost siemilar things whenever he go to abraod for me & my SIL but she is always over greedy.S she has full right to take from her brother ,but what i feel is take in a DIRECT WAY not doing any drama like FOR eg : i mentioned above.Sooo... may things she has done like this ,& i have simply kpet quite.
Now also my IL's know that rent is our only RETURN INCOME even though my SIL WANTED TO MOVE,so its vfery clear that knowingly they r doing like this .

Listen, I understand how you feel. And I agree ideally your SIL should call
you and request that you consider renting to her.

But it didn't happen this way, now it is time to do damage control or let them
have their way, your choice. If you don't call with the reason that it it their responsibility to call you then you are the one who is going to be the loser.

So please set aside your ego and call your SIL and talk to her and
straighten things out.
