Default Preeclampsia

My daughter in law is in the hospital right now....sometime today hopefully they will have the baby.
Last night they tested her urine and my son asked if there was protein in her urine.
They said yes, and this is a sign of preeclampsia.

Has anyone else had this condition when pregnant? What exactly are the reproctions?

It can be very serious for both mother and baby, but rest assured that your daughter in law is in the best possible place.

Pre-eclampsia is a very serious case and it is a dangerous condition for both mother and child, this condition will be prevented by avoiding salt or taking less salt in the diet during pregnancy, as it leads to albuminuria or proteinuria, which leads to hypertension and at last lands to eclampsia condition.
Any how, now a days there medicines and good treatment coming up, and we should never give relaxing that medicines have come up, a keen observation of the patient should be there till the delivery, if any kind of convulsions or seizures observed we should immediately intimate the Doctor.
The type of seizures leads the mother and baby to hypoxic condition.

Pre-eclampsia has nothing to do with salt intake
