When I worked as a fashion coordinator we were taught the rule of thumb for accessories.
You should get dressed, put on all of your accessories and then remove one. This way you are not overboard on accessories.

Some people go pretty light on accessories, so they are fine. Those who like to wear earrings, necklaces, bracelets, anklets, belts.....just take one off for a better balance.

Yes, I have heard people say that too, but I can see a lot of women finding it difficult to decide what to leave at home.

Personally, I just wear earrings and maybe a bracelet, so I don't think I am going over the top at the moment.

leaving one accessory behind, how would i be able to decide that?

I know you mean by when some people overload themselves with accessories, but i see some women who actually look good when they have a lot of accessories, but on the other hand maybe it was because their dress was simple.

Some people looks good with overloaded accessories. But some where not.
So one has to choose which looks good for them.

But simple accessories are well suited for all.

Many persons are having so many collections. So they find difficult to choose.

I prefer simple accessories.

I can see how some people can have a hard time deciding what not to wear on a special evening, but they forget that wearing too many accessories can really take away from the actual person. People tend to look at what's on your wrist and neck rather than you. Accessories are supposed to make you look good, not overshadow your appearance.

Yeah, I agree on that. Sometimes I feel like very "occupied" when wearing it all. I used to wear earings and ring only on everyday living but when I go out, I am ading a little accent by wearing bracelets.
