I am planning to gift nice ring to my would be wife. But I am confused whether to gift gemstone ring or diamond ring? If gemstone, then which and where can i find some nice designs?

Well sometimes that depends on girls. Most women would want to have diamonds like the heart shaped one.

I dunno, diamonds tend to be a post-marriage thing. I don't like them at all, myself.

If you want to wow her, I suggest a sapphire and diamond design. The stones complement one another and there are endless designs to choose from.

That would entirely depend on your girlfriend's personality and preferences. I personally don't think it is a good idea to purchase gems unless you are absolutely sure of what she likes.

I agree with ButterflyEs, but I realize that it may be tough to get that information from her without giving yourself away... Maybe talk to her mother, or some of her friends? I'm sure they would know what she likes.

I agree it depends on the person. But I guess diamonds will go fine as in case of gemstones you need to be really sure of her choice and preference. For site reference I am afraid I don't have much idea.

Why don't you get her a ring with her birthstone set inside it? It will make it seem like you have put much more effort into your choice too.

I'm really lucky that my birthstone is the diamond, I just love them!
