Its a reference to a movie called 'Silence of the Lambs' one of
my favourite movies.

you see the heroine is an FBI agent who is tracking a serial killer
who has kidnapped a senators daughter.

Clarice (That's her name in the movie) when she was young
lived in a farm where lambs were slaughtered, she tried to save
some lambs but couldn't so she had this nightmares of lambs
screaming.

By saving the senators daughter from the serial killer she hopes
her nightmare will go away and the lambs will stop screaming.
