Everyone has different ways to teach their children potty training, some techniques work and some dont. What potty training techniques have you or do you use? With my girl it was easy I just made her sit on the loo and it that was it, but with my son who is 2yrs old he just doesn't sit on the loo at all, well he does but doesn't do his potty and just sits there for as long he is told and doesn't do it!!! So give me some tips and advise on how to solve this problem! |

For all of my children I bought a book about going potty. They would sit on the potty chair and I would read them the book . This gave them the time needed to go if they actually needed to go. It takes alot of patience and consistency. I always rewarded with a sticker chart too.

For my son i bought one nice potty which looks like a bike with two handles as accelerators, early morning i make him sit on that from the 10month itself, he feels that he is driving a bike, now he is 2yr old and goes to toilets regularly on his own.
