My nephew spent the first 8 weeks of his life on his back without moving. He couldn't be held or turned to his side at all. He had a terrible flat head. Docs said it would round out, but he's now two and it's still flat. I hear you can put your kids in helmets to round out the head but I'm thinking it may be more trouble than it's worth.. Just let the head be flat unless it's majorly disfiguring.

What I saw my grandmother used to do was to keep massaging the head gently everyday. I don't know if this works, but it's definitely worth a try. You can massage the head of your baby in a circular motion. Please do this gently and not forcefully as this may hurt the baby if done with too much force.
