Default Spitting up all the time

Does anyone have an infant who is always spitting up? My grandson will drink his bottle, give a big burp and then spit up for the next 1/2 hour or so.

Is there something that we can give him to help this?

Do you mean he regurgitates everything or just a few drops? If its too much, there must be a problem with his digestive system so bring him to a pediatrician.

I'm wondering if he may be allergic to something? That doesn't seem normal to me. If it's just a little bit, that's one thing, but it sounds to me like it's a lot, if not all of what he's eaten

It is not just a little bit here and there. It is a ton! They have taken him to the pediatrician and they put him on a gentle formula. Still, he spews all the time and alot! He is not thin by any means, so the doctors aren't that concerned.

Something must be irritating him.. that's so strange. Good to hear that they're on top of things!

Oh maybe he doesn't like the milk or something. I remember my lil brother does that sometimes when he's so full and cannot drink anymore milk.

If you're not overfeeding him, he probably has some kind of gastroesophageal reflux disease. Consult your pediatrician about it.

The ped said that within the next month he should stop doing this. I guess once he sits on his own it won't come up....or something like that. He has just started sitting on his own, so we will see.
