Bonding with your baby through touching and massaging brings the mother and baby closer together, but also brings a close attachment. The signs that will help you recognize that the bond between you is growing even stronger are the following. Babies like to look at people and objects around them. When you connect to the baby the bay starts making eye contact with you. Though the baby cannot speak to you but all the noises are significant. Babies try to laugh, gurgle and babble to make the bond with you. If you react positively to this the baby will try to talk back to you. The gesture of reaching out to touch you can mean the need for a hug or coming closer. The baby may smile at you to say “I love you”. You need to understand that and smile back at the baby. The bond between you and the baby actually nurtures various developments in the child for future growth.

That's definitely true. I used to sing to my babies and talk to them even when they were still in my womb and continued doing it only very recently as they are no longer babies. I know this and paying close attention to them has helped us form a strong bond and I am very very close to my daughters. I wouldn't exchange the relationship I have with my kids for anything else.

I think both of you have really good tips on how to bond with your baby. I could picture me as a mother.. I would be always holding it, teaching it to talk, trying to help it walk. It would be really cute! I would be the mom taking millions of pix!
