slice onions length wise, slice a few chillies finely ad mix this well with besan and water and salt to make a paste( make sure you have more onion peices tahn besan). now deep fry. Serve or eat (he he) with green chutney or plain tomato sauce.

Default Indian starter

Usual Indian starter is bajji, bonda, vadai etc. anyone you can prepare. This is for vegetarian functions.

If non-veg function you can prepare chicken soup or chicken pakoda.

Next time when you have a party, do try this item, it will be very tasty & easy too. This is chicken drumstick:
Ingredients for chicken drum stick:1. Chicken joints seperated into two in between(1/4 kg).
2. Ginger-garlic paste(1tsp).
3. Salt to taste, turmeric powder(1/4 tsp), chilly powder(2tsp or according to your wish).
4. Garam masala powder(1/2tsp), coriander & cumin powder(1/2tsp).
5. Besan(2tsp), & corn flour( 4tsp).
6. pepper powder (1/2 tsp).
7. beaten egg white (2).
8. Oil for deep fry.

Procedure:1. Clean the chicken joints & wash nicely, take them in a bowl.
2. Add salt, turmeric powder, chilly powder, ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, pepper powder, coriander & cumin powder, besan & corn flour as mentioned above.
3. keep the marinated chicken aside for an hour.
4. take egg white in a seperate bowl and beat it thoroughly.
5. Take a dish to fry on to the stove, put oil for deep fry & heat it.
6. Now take the chicken pieces one by one, dip in beaten egg & deep fry in oil, let them fry nicely, take out, and
7. Now ready to serve hot hot chicken drumsticks, they can be served with chilly or tomato sauce.
Taste chicken drumsticks & tell how they taste.

it also depends on when its eaten, i mean generally tandoori chicken in UK is eaten as a starter (when going to someones house for dinner), then there is a gap of 2/3 hours until the main meal.

I love the taste of Tandoori chicken but has always wondered why it is so red? It looks different than the yellowish colour of curry. Is a spice or a marinate?

There's a waste difference in tandoori and chicken drum-stick, Tandoori is mostly made of thighs which can't be eaten where as Drum-stick is made out of a small wing which is made tasty and can be eaten very nicely.

Where is Buffalo wing and where is chicken wing? Farce, i think you often eat a buffalo, it's not always good as it contains more fat in it at the same time more diseased too, try to avoid it, or else have to cook it very carefully.

Hi Kantha

I am sorry I did not know that....... i have always had drumsticks from Chinese places .. or form Indian places but from under the Chinese dry/starter section but must be an INdian dish to start with ... I had no idea...

BTW tandoori isn't made only from thighs and it can be eaten it's really nice

And  Buffalo wings are made from chicken
