Chicken curries are found in different flavors and recipes. Let me give you a simple chicken recipe from my mother’s kitchen. Take 1 kg chicken or chicken legs, wash them and marinate them with half cup curd, salt to taste, 1 teaspoon red chili powder, 1 teaspoon coriander powder and 1 teaspoon gram masala. Keep it aside for 45 minutes. Now grind 50 grams of ginger, 8 to 10 gloves of garlic and 5 to 6 onions and grind them into a smooth paste. Heat oil in a pan to cook. When hot add this paste to it also add a stick of dal cheeni, 2 to 3 long and keep frying for 10 minutes then add the chicken to it and keep cooking for 15 minutes now add 3 to 4 tomatoes that are chopped or grinded to paste. Cook it for 30 minutes and now it is ready to serve.

Thank you for that recipe, sim. How I wish to serve it with my family if will have a small gathering again. Maybe I could surprise them with this simple recipe, especially my brother, because it seems that this is one of his favorite. Do you still have other chicken recipe? |
