Default Undomesticated?

I don't like to cook, and I don't like to clean. Do you think that makes me lazy? I just feel like I have a conscious resistance to domestication, especially in the traditional sense that seems to apply to women. Does anyone else feel the same way?

You sound exactly like me lol. I don't think there's anything wrong with that, you just need to find a man that will do the cooking for you like I have

Ahaha we girls are the same. I don't like cooking that much because I don't really know a lot of recipes to cook. I also hate cleaning but my hubby hates it too >.> so what we do is to team up when cleaning the house lol.

I think there are a lot of couples that team up to clean. Cleaning is no fun.. especially if you're doing it on your own. Ick!! I would cook if I knew how and I know all I would need is a cook book or something, but I just don't care. I'm too lazy. Everything I eat is either made on the oven top or the microwave lol

I actually enjoy cooking and cleaning, but not after eight hours at work. The only time I ever cook is on the weekends. My hubby works less hours than me and so that responsiblity falls on him. I also clean probably less than two hours during the actual work week. But give me a week off and our house will be cleaned! I like making everything look nice, having everything where it should be, etc...

Out of the two, I think I find cooking to be the more detestable chore, mostly because so many things can go wrong. With cleaning, it's simple, just remove the dirt. That doesn't mean that I don't find them to be terribly redundant tasks.

I hate housework, period. I know how to do it, and I do it well, but boy, do I detest wasting my life on this crap. I don't mind cooking that much, at least I can see results of my work - my family enjoying the dishes I've made. But cleaning - it's a never-ending battle. Hate it, hate it, hate it...

Haha there's no way we can avoid cleaning thats for sure. My hubby sometimes scolds me when the house is messy. Good thing he always helps me out if he thinks I'm too lazy to do it alone. He also cooks meals, do the laundry and cleans the house he's like a girl lol.

Good thing that he helps, it redeems his "scolding." I wouldn't put up with that. Am I your housemaid to be "scolded" for messy house?? If so, where's my paycheck?
