Default Crochet

I love to crochet. It inspires creativity and invention when doing new patterns and mixing colors. I love to see the beauty that comes out of every pattern even if the whole project is not yet finished. It is also a good way to rest my mind from the turmoils of everyday living and making ends meet.

I enjoy crochet...but I'm not very good at following patterns. I do much better if I make something free-form. My daughter tried to teach me to make granny squares a couple months ago. That was funny! Each square was fine, but none matched another. But I don't have that tension problem with other projects. So, I guess I'm just the one person who can't do the "easiest pattern ever."

I love crocheting as well, it is such a peaceful, relaxing hobby. I have made sets of matching hotpads and coasters and gave them away as gifts - they were such a hit! People liked them and some asked to buy more for gifts of their own.

I enjoyed crochet also. The first time I did this was when I was 15 years old. The process was quite complicated for me but I was able to handle it. By the way, who influences you to try crochet?

I had made able to crochet 2 center piece with three mixed color. I am proud to say that it was really beautiful product of mine. This could be one of my achievement for this month. Well, before I taught of this it was very hard. For me, as long as you have the love of your work nothing is impossible. By the way, had you ever tried to did one of this?

How long did it take you to learn the process? I just started to make one and I am having a difficult time. What do you think I should do to make it easier?

I haven't used silk threads in my crochet. I always use cotton or polyester threads. Cotton is heavier and more bulky. But it also depends on the size of the thread.
