Ive seen the thread scrapbooking in this section and a from a few other people, but Ive never known what it is?

What is scrapbooking?

Scrap booking is somthing like, writing a scrap and bookmarking it.
I m nt sure...

It's when you take special photographs and mementos and paste them into an empty book. You decorate around the photographs with papers, stamps or ribbons to make it very ornate. Ladies in the USA, particularly in the west do this a LOT. Recently I made a scrap book to commemorate my nephew's first birthday. I took all the pictures from his birthday party and some of the decoration from his party and pasted into a book and made it all fancy.

Well we made a scrapbook before we end our term in our theology. It's just simply a couple of photo album with some fancy designs like glitters and stickers. You decide on what design you want the fancier the cuter. Also don't forget to put some adlibs on the pictures.... that's the best part of having a scrapbook.

Well I prefer to do scrapbooking the manual way. Where I can put stickers all over it which actually is fun to do.

For Christmas a few years ago, I went into my mother's collection of old, black and white photos from when she was growing up. She'd just been keeping them in a box, so she really didn't miss them when I took handfuls to put them into a photo album. It took more than a month to do, but she loved seeing all her old memories laid out in a decorative photo album with such a personal touch.

Has anybody got an idea of how to make a scrapbook cover? I want to make my own book. I bought the paper and stickers but haven't really started yet. I want to make an interesting and unique cover. I was thinking wood but that might make it too heavy.

Scrapbook is like a blank book in which various items (as newspaper clippings or pictures) are collected and preserved. By the way, do you love to make or design your own scrapbook?
