Default Writing

I would have to say, writing has always been my number one hobby. I love writing songs, stories, inspirational things. Over the years, I have accumulated so much of my writings. It's amazing when I look back and see that I wrote like 30 pages in one day.. When I'm in 'the zone', I can't seem to stop. I get these random spurts of inspiration. Anyone else the same? What do you write about?

I love writing as well, I have been into books and writing ever since I was a kid. I love being able to explore different worlds - every book opens a new one to you - and to create worlds of your own.

Have you tried getting published? It is not an easy road to travel, but if you have talent, it deserves to be shared with others.

I have been thinking about it, and I'm going to start to do some research online soon. I have quite a bit of poems and short stories that I would love to get published, but it seems to me it would be hard to find someone who wanted/needed them.

I'm thinking about starting with a children's book.

There is an inspiration behind everything that we read, regardless of its topic. Don't stop yourself from wanting to publish thinking that no one might be interested in it. There will always be a group of people who will find your material resonating with them. Besides, what do you have to lose? You've had the courage to launch your website, I think you'd do great publishing as well

Thank you ButterflyEs! (what's the meaning behind your name btw?) That's very nice of you. Yes, I'm not going to give up. I have a HUGE list of all these things I'd like to do, and I'm starting to write down ways of going about it and things like that. I wish I could do them all at once.

If anyone has any websites or any tips on publishing, that would be wonderful

What you need is a literary agent who would represent your work to publishers. Search agentquery.com to find those who work with what you are writing. Then send them a query letter. It's a long process, and there will be "No, thankyous," but it is worth it.
