Smile Collecting CD's

I LOVE collecting CDs. Whenever I'm feeling down, music brings me back up. I love singing and dancing. It releases a lot of stress and is just a lot of fun. It's also great exercise.. and it doesn't feel like working out lol

I am into pop, hip-hop, rap. Pretty much the most popular music. I like songs with really meaningful lyrics or something with a good beat to dance to

I enjoy listening to grunge, post-grunge and rock music most of all. But there are lots of song from different genres that I like listening to as well. I believe that any type of music is worth listening to as long as it resonates with my soul. I love music!

Dancing is definitely good exercise! And it's alot more enjoyable that jogging or walking, at least in my opinion. I love it when hubby is gone and I have the house to myself and I can put on music with a good beat and dance with no one watching.

Haha!! That's too funny. I do the same. I used to have surround sound, so when no one was home, I'd crank it up as loud as I could and dance around and act like I was in a music video or up on stage with my microphone. It's so much fun and I could do it for hours and it just doesn't feel like working out!! It's like cheating.. lol

I enjoy collecting CD's as well. I have lots of movie collections. Whenever I have the money, I would buy any movies I like. It's enjoyable too. By the way, when did you start collecting CD's?

I plan to have a movie collection. However, I find it a very expensive hobby. How many times do you usually buy a CD in a month? Do you buy it or download some of it in the internet?

@Brandy.. I would say, lately I don't get CDs at all. Well, except the new Paramore album that comes out on the 29th!! But, when I had the money,I would go crazy.. probably got like 5-10 CDs a month. It was INSANE!!! Now, I prefer to just search for music and YouTube.. it's cheaper that way

The first piece music I got was on a cassette. I can't remember how old I was, but my mom bought me a cassette of Pocahontas, the song "Colors of the Wind." I was most interested in the b-side, "Colors of the Wind" sung in Spanish. I played it over and over, and now, I prefer non-English songs over songs sung in English. You can got to last.fm if you want to listen to music for free. That's why I sometimes do.

Thanks. I'll have to check that out Hirami.

I'm pretty sure my first cassette was Madonna. I remember I also had The Spice Girls, (as well as Geri's solo album), Ninja Turtles.. haha I used to be obsessed with em. It was a lot of fun

CDs can get very expensive, so the only CDs that I have are the ones with music that I really wanted and some promotional CDs that I got for free. I think it's cheaper if you buy the mp3 of songs that way, you only have the songs that you like.
