Default Sketching

I was into sketching from a young age, but never actually got the chance to sit down and dedicate myself to it. But its something I want to start again, and again its something which I will start when my little one starts going playschool. Although I have started practicing again and Im really enjoying it.

Any other sketchers out there?

I like to watch artists who sketch but I am not really good at drawing.

I think it is great that you are going to start this up again. If you get your children interested it will be a fun activity for all of you to do together.

I am not very artistic at all. My son and daughter are both great drawers. I tried to get them to continue as they got older but they lost interest.

Talking Hi

Am a new member, and I had been crazy about pencil drawings during my childhood. Now I teach paintings, and the only time I draw is when I teach my students how to draw.I wish I post a few of my (old)drawings soon.

Hello Vetri! It's nice to know some new members of the site. I consider sketching or even drawing a difficult task. Did someone teaches you to draw or you were born with this talent?

Awww... that reminds me!! I haven't sketched in a while. Ever since I was diagnosed with anxiety, I've just kinda focused solely on that.

I used to just sit outside and draw things that I saw. I think it's a great stress reliever!!

Hi Kyles414,

Nice meeting you too.Nothing is difficult if you love doing that, leave alone being crazy about it!You may shine in whatever you are interested in doing.I was not fortunate enough to be taught in the fine arts.I am self taught, or rather, as you mentioned, was born with the talent.I didn't have the opportunity to develop it, is another matter.
