Colorful Life is Healthier Life
Everyone likes colors. A red rose, a blue sky, a pink sunset or a green parrot is a treat to the eye. A particular color may bring back an old memory. In this context, it is even possible to say that colors change our mood. It is even proven scientifically that red makes you hungry and that is the reason why many restaurants have their name board and hoardings in red. Chromotherapy or color therapy takes this to a higher level.
Color therapy is a non invasive treatment process in which color and light are used to balance or stimulate the energy in a person's body and thus control and cure any illness. Different colors are specified for different results. Mainly the seven colors of the spectrum, Violet, Indigo, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange and Red are used. Color therapists claim that different organs of our body respond to different colors differently and this fact is the base of the treatment. In Color therapy techniques employed are simple, like using colored glass filters to immerse the patient in a specific color, or making the patient drink water from a particularly colored glass.
Color therapists claim that the therapy works not only on a physical level but also on emotional and spiritual levels. They claim that the therapy will cure the physical illness and also give the person a better emotional stability and spiritual well-being.
Even though scientifically not proven, I will say that the therapy is very colorful.
