Default Dinner time

Most of us have our dinner and head to bed right away. This is absolutely wrong! We must make sure that the gap between having dinner and going to sleep should be at least 2 to 3 hours. By following this practice you are making sure that you put on weight easily. As the food you are eating gets deposited and turns into fat. It is a good idea to go for night walk after your dinner. Do not practice eating food late, have an early dinner which is not to heavy and they after keep a gap in between go to bed. Moreover eating food and going to bed straight away also leads to heartburn and indigestion.

I have heard so many people say this, but its so difficult to adjust it to my lifestyle, because me and hubby have dinner together when he comes home late from work this makes it more difficult. And I think this is a major factor in my life which makes my weight go up!

Although its a bit difficult but I think this change needs to be made in my life, as well as for others who tend to eat then sleep straight after.

As you said, Sara, me also i do same as you regarding waiting for hubby to come from work and eat tegether late, but i don't go to bed soon after eating, i do all my cleaning work after having supper so that my calories will be catabolised and have low calories when i eat late, why can't you try this.

Ohh this only happens to me when I eat dinner late. Since we always have dinner in around 8 or 9 pm daily there's still a lot more time for me to do something else before sleeping.

I don't usually eat dinner right before going to bed. After I eat, I want to watch TV, or I might have a few other things to do. I do understand that eating can make people sleepy afterwards. Try to read a book or do something productive before going to bed.

Yeah eating a lot makes me really sleepy. Watching tv after dinner is a good diversion.

Eating when it's dark outside, even if it's not too late, always makes me sleepy. Makes me want to get under a blanket, relax on the couch watching tv lol. I try not to eat and lay down right away, it's tough, but you can do it
