Default Tips on Hygiene and Longevity

Human life is not easy to live. Apart from those developed species, there are many life forms invisible to naked eye. These foreign materials can interact with our body to produce certain chemicals. It may also activate some reactions in our body.

Do you know?

Maintaining a proper hygiene will add 6 years to your life.

“I prayed to God for courage, instead of giving me courage, he gave me opportunities to be courageous”.

Have you heard this? In our life, we like using shortcuts. There are no shortcuts to longevity. Instead, we have to rectify ourselves for attaining a longer life. The first priority should be hygiene. Hygiene is maintaining the natural condition of our body.

Culture and Hygiene

Ancient cultures clearly define the connection between hygiene and aging. The word hygiene was derived from Hyegieia. In Greek, Hyegieia is the Goddess of health. She represents cleanliness and sanitation.

Apart from Greeks, ancient Indians made accurate observations on the importance of Hygiene. Hygiene was a part of nitya karmas (nitya – daily, karma – duties). The most prominent nitya karma is bathing. Bathing purifies our body.

These are aimed to eliminate certain bacteria and virus. A few parasites may also cause irregularities in our health condition. They interact with our body to produce undesired effects. We maintain a chemical equilibrium in our body. Our Health is measured by the quantity of these chemicals in our body.

How does it work?

When our body identifies these bacteria, it takes precaution. Our immune system interacts with these foreign elements by secreting chemicals. It is a natural action to maintain the status quo.
The key is to limit the presence of certain chemicals in our body. Even if we effectively deal these foreign particles, some effects cannot be reversed. These packets of uncertainty may lead to other unhealthy developments.

Not all foreign elements are harmful to our body. Some bacteria help to maintain the natural process of our body. They co exist with the natural elements in our body. When we fail to maintain hygiene, these bacteria are threatened by new comers.

Make a careful selection of disinfectants and antiseptics. They may not identify good and bad bacteria. Nowadays, we use antiseptic soaps, creams, face wash and so on. Manufacturers of these products exploit our commitment towards hygiene to sell their products. They advise to use them in large quantities. This may help their balance sheet, but not our longevity. Overuse of these antiseptics eliminates friendly bacteria. This will result in loss of equilibrium.

Don’t forget to wash your hands before eating. Use warm water and a clean towel.

Hello Friends.........

Tips on hygiene and longevity

1.Don't Smoke:Cigarettes increase your risk of certain cancers, stroke and heart and lung disease. It also impairs your quality of life by limiting your ability to taste, smell and be active.

2.Eat Well: Fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean meats are all necessary to ensure a healthy body. If you feed your body well, your organs will function more efficiently, putting less overall strain on them and thereby helping them function longer and better.

3.Sleep: As simple as it may seem, getting enough sleep (7-8 hours per night) will significantly repair your body and mind after a long day. Sleeping enough is also essential in keeping you sharp, and therefore less likely to be injured or killed in a needless accident.

Thanks
