A recent new study has revealed a new secret to live longer. Just we need to expose ourselves to sunlight daily moderately. It has been observed that Vitamin D is produced in the body when it is exposed to sunlight, and this cuts the mortality rate down. The Sin Austria team from the Graz University researched that the vitamin from the sunlight helps the calcium for the growth of bones to be absorbed in our bodies. Other sources of Vitamin D are milk and salmon fish. Deficiency of Vitamin D causes osteoporosis in adults and rickets in children. Doctors believe that we should have 20 to 30 nanograms per milliliter of the vitamin in our blood. The risk of early death is doubled for people with 5 to 10 nanograms.

That is a very informative post. I think all of the vitamins could be a secret for a longer life. I am fond of eating vegetables and fruits. Could you state some examples of these that have vitamin D?

Thank you for that post, farce. I was about to ask the other source of vit D. By the way, reena said that, vit. D is also present in milk. How many glasses of this is needed in our body to complete 10-20 nanograms? |

| That is sooo good to know. Thank you! Good thing is, since I moved to Reno (from Washington, so it's going to take me a bit to get used to the heat) I have been exposing myself to a LOT of sun. I notice that I feel more awake and just more energized and like I can get more done. When I was in Washington, I would sit in my house pretty much all day and I was just always tired. Now I know why. OMG!! I got the WORST sunburn I've EVER had yesterday on my chest, back, shoulders and face. I gotta get some sunblock!!!! |

| I definitely learned from that! I make sure to have sunblock with me at all times. It's tough though, because I want to get darker. Do you have any tips? I burn really easy. I have very, very light white skin

Well, i don't like to recommend something i haven't tried myself or seen someone tried the product because it might harm you. Maybe you can ask someone who already tried a tanning lotion or those tanning beds or lights promoted online. You can also ask an expert if tanning is really for you because i just thought that your skin is type I or II |
