Default About Blood Pressure

Blood pressure is the force of the blood against the artery walls. Blood pressure is taken in two different numbers. The first number is the systolic pressure (which means the rate at which the heart beats), and the second number is the diastolic pressure (which means the rate at which the heart relaxes between each beat). The first number is always written over the second number, the systolic number over the diastolic number.

Normal blood is 120/80 or below and anything higher than this is high blood pressure. Anything on the range of 90/60 or below is considered as low blood pressure.

I don't know that much about blood pressure even though a lot of people in my family have high blood pressure. I always knew what the good numbers for blood pressure were considered to be, but I didn't know what the numbers stood for. Thanks.

I am glad I mostly have normal blood pressure (120/80). For you who are suffering from high blood pressure, taking fruits especially melon and water melon may help.
