Default Remove The Stress Factor

In the present day scenario, stress has become part of the everyday lifestyle. The tight schedules have left us with no time to relax our minds and the increasing competition leads to a stressful life. However, you need to keep a check on the stress level in your life because if not taking seriously, it can be dangerous for you.

The first thing that you need to work on is the way you use the first few hours of your day. Most people jump out of their beds and start getting ready for the office. It has been found that people who go for a morning walk or workout in the early morning have a lesser stress level in their lives. Fresh air always works miracles in one’s life. You can walk instead of using your automobile to go out to near-by places.

If you cannot perform such activities then try to give yourself at least 30 minutes when you wake up. Keep you mind empty when you wake up, for the first half hour and you will feel the difference the entire day. You can do anything that you love to do in these 30 minutes or just idle and have deep breaths. Keeping a regular diary helps a lot. You might say that you do not have time for such things but you have to take out time. Pouring down your feelings on paper acts a vent.

One of the best things to do to de-stress you life is to meditate. Meditation is the ultimate method to get rid of the stress related issues. You can also try yoga but it is important to take guidance from an expert. It is not advisable to learn yoga from books, as it could be risky for some. Life could be really great if you do not have stress. Try to enjoy every moment that you get and you will feel that the world has changed for you.

Meditation and yoga are good for stress, but i don't think that its necessary to have guidance from an expert, as many of the yoga postures are quite simple and nothing complicated is involved. Although i do agree that with some postures you need expert guidance! But the stress related or general postures are pretty easy to do and follow!

Another point which I agree on that helps beat stress, meditation and as already mentioned in the thread http://www.womensforum.in/yoga/33-key-happy-living.html#post134, yoga helps a lot too!

Along with Yoga and Medication there is something which can really help to take that stress out of your mind, just take out an hour to do something which you like the most like painting, gardening or something like that.

I have my alarm set so I get out of bed forty minutes before anyone else in the morning. This is when I get my me time. I have a cup of tea and lounge around either watching the news or reading a book.

stress can't be avoided especially these days when times are hard...you could take supplements that are specifically made to deal with everyday stress, meditate once in a while, and treat your self to some pampering session in a spa or to a new pair of shoes. works for me...

Thumbs up

There are several ways to relieve stress. As for myself, I go shopping...window shopping works on me too if I'm out of cash. I would sometimes have a haircut or have my hair rebonded. Foot spa and body massage is also one way of pampering myself, leaving me re-energized to face another stressful week.

I have been advised to do meditation to release the negative aura brought about by stress. I've tried a few times but never succeeded because I'm having a hard time concentrating. But this is one of the best if not the best way to relieve stress.

I meditate every day and it makes me feel awesome. I completely empty my mind during my meditations and when I am done, I feel like I got years younger. I feel all my concerns slip away and it is great to be reminded that all that matters is NOW. There is no benefit in worrying about what happened yesterday or what will happen tomorrow, or even in the next five minutes. When I meditate, I realize over and over again that there is only the present moment and nothing else - this alone is enough to take away all the stress from my body and mind.

Always keep the mind cool. Don't get tensed for anything. Then you won't get stress.

Agree with this! Lately I've been so down and so stressed out. And meditation really helps, like why worry to much? life is beautiful guess we just have to deal with it and treat it nicely. Take time to laugh!

Meditation and yoga are some of the way to get your stress off, try to take everything in life easy and jovial manner, learn to enjoy your life. Don't take anything to your heart, it hurts you lot. Hear some good music, make some evening walk. Divert your mind in different thing when you feel stressful.

One way also to relieve yourself from stress is to give your body a time to relax. Going to quiet places, like in a beach, is one of the best option. I usually do this if I want to relax, how about you?

Its a day to day routine. Stress would never go awaybecause of environmental factors related stress or it could be in our diet. Stress is already part of our lives whether we like it or not.
