I've had to get stiches once, because I slipped on a book when I was about 3 years old and hit my eye on a coffee table. I think I had like 5 stiches and ya.. at least I don't remember a thing

I've never had to have stitches... They probably use some anesthesia for that, but it still sounds scary. My husband had cut his palm when he was in college, rather deep, he had stitches, and you can still see the scar. He said it did hurt when the numbing wore off.

Ouch!! In the hand must hurt, cuz you move it so much

A friend of mine gave birth to her baby by cesarean method. She had at least 15 stitches in her tummy.
