I believe this is what it is called. The Garvisil shot is given to preteens and teens to help prevent the chance of cervical cancer. My daughter will be 10 this summer and I am going to have her get ths shot. Has anyone else gotten this shot? Any side effects? |

I was going to get it, but decided against it, because I'm not sure the side effects. If I hear from anyone who's had it, I will make sure to let you know

These shots are been provided in India on clinical trial basis. As the doctors were not specific whether any side effects might occur hence I didn't let my younger cousins have this vaccine. I can afford to wait and watch for another year before they reach their vaccination age. I heard there are side effects though- http://www.naturalnews.com/026293.html http://www.healthnews.com/family-health/womens-health/is-gardasil-cervical-vaccine-safe-1371.html |

| It's GARDASIL. Another brand is CERVARIX. I think it's a relatively safe injection. Although I read a few months back that a student in England (I think) died a few days after she got the shot. The student was apparently healthy and BFAD is trying to investigate if it was just a coincidence or her death was due to the injection.
