Default Morning/Night Person

How do you think your sleeping habits affect your health? I keep hearing that when you sleep during the day, it's not good for you. Why is that? I think as long as you get out in the sun enough, and you sleep 8 hours a night, then you should be fine.. maybe I'm missing something.

I think trying to go against your biological clock does more harm. When I force myself to get up early, I feel miserable most of the day, but when I sleep according to my natural schedule, I feel great and I can do tons of work.

Hmmm I've done that like 2months breaking my normal sleeping time. I started sleeping at 5am then moved up to 2pm lolz and now I'm back to sleeping at night phew. I guess my body is now confused to which sleeping routine to follow.

Traveling across the ocean and changing day to night is what really messes up your biological clock. I've done that when I went to Europe, it is so weird. Your body will eventually adjust - but then you go back, and it has to adjust yet again. That's even harder.

I think you're right. When I go to bed at like 3am and let myself sleep 12 hours, I feel good but when I try to go to bed earlier and only sleep 8-9, I just feel exhausted. I'm a night person.. I get more done at night. And, my body needs LOTS of rest :P, always has. People hate it

Your biological clock usually changes as you change your routine. If you're a night person, your biological clock will change that you need to sleep during the day. You know when to get sleep because your clock will tell that you are sleepy.

Thanks for the tip. ya, it's been really tough trying to decide when to sleep and how long to sleep. I'm such a tired person in general lol. I hate it haha
