There are two types of unsaturated fats.They are as follows: MUFA: Monounsaturated fatty acids have a single double bond in their structure. Olive oil, groundnut oil, mustard oil, nuts (almonds, walnuts, cashews) are predominantly MUFA. PUFA: Polyunsaturated fatty acids have more than one double bond in their structure. Sunflower oil, soyabean oil, corn oil come in this category. |
