Wink Hypertension, High Cholesterol and Heart Disease

1.Cut down on meat, dairy products and eggs, which, apart from being rich in cholesterol, are also rich in sodium. Cereals vegetables and fruits, on the other hand, contain small amounts of sodium.
2.Avoid added salt.
3.Avoid food rich in baking powder and baking soda which is usually used to make cakes and pastries, breads and croissants.

To further avoid foods high in sodium, you should try not to eat canned or frozen foods. Salt helps to preserve food, and if a food can be kept for a long time without spoiling, it probably has lots of sodium in it. Go for fresh food.

Yes, go for fresh and organic foods. When we say organic, there should be no chemical being used during the process.

There has been some research that suggests the refined sugars actually cause your body to make too much cholesterol. We actually get very little of our cholesterol from high cholesterol food, most of the cholesterol in our bodies is made by our bodies!

Although most cholesterol is made up in our body, its important to keep an eye on amount of triglycerides intake. Prevention is always better than cure, at least in heart related diseases.
