Default Water intake

Just wanna know your thoughts on how much water you should take in? I am the kind or person who just drinks when I am thirsty and I also make sure that my pee is at least clear. Is this good enough?

Technically, you should be able to see through your urine enough so you could read through it. Sounds to me like you've been drinking enough. It depends on the person. My grandma was recently told by her nurses that she needs to drink about 6 8 ounce glasses per day. (She's about 84 lbs)

That's what I do. I was told that your urine should be light colored. I'd like to think that it should look like lemonade. I drink water when I'm thirsty, but there are times when I feel extremely thirsty like before I go to bed.

I have heard a doctor say that whey you are thirsty, your body is already dehydrating. So it is a good idea to add a gladd or two of water a day even if you don't really feel you want it.

You should be drinking around 1.5 to 2 litres of water per day to maintain good health, but this can seem like a lot.

Sometimes it's so hard to get myself to drink all the water that I need. When I was a little girl, my mom used to make us drink water every time we got home. It annoyed me so much because it was winter, and the water was cold. I've found it easier to drink more water if it's at a room temperature.
