Default So much sickness!

It is crazy in this town! It seems that everyone is sick. If you call the doctor and don't have the Swime Flu Symptoms, they won't even see you!

I read online that if you take and place an onion in each room of your home the flu virus will go to the onion rather than to the people in your house.
So I tried this and guess what.....my daughter is sick

Is there a ton of sickness in your area too?

It certainly seems this way. Our local school has been closed for a week - over 60 kids had called in sick one day, most of them with flu symptoms.

I see hand sanitizers everywhere - in restaurants and other public places; that's a good idea, helps to fight those germs.

A lot of people have gotten sick in my area, and a person has died at a local community college, but in the smaller city that I live in, I don't think that anyone has gotten sick. (I'm not sure.) There are hand sanitizers almost everywhere. Is this what it took for people to start using basic hygiene?

We have just gotten rid of the flu in our house, but it is just that time of year when germs flourish and I think people have been brought up to be too clean so they don't have strong immune systems.

We're always washing our hands, and no one is at any kind of special risk. I'm usually at home or at the library, so I don't spend a lot of time around people. The dispensing of vaccinations have been going pretty well, too.

I was sick for TWO MONTHS straight. I was so scared it was the Swine Flu, but it was just some strange bacterial infection or something. I never went to the doc, so I don't know for sure, but it was frustrating. I was constantly coughing and my throat was all scratchy. Has anyone else ever been sick(ish) like that?
