Default Swollen feet?

It has been about three days that I have swollen feet. I don't feel any pain, but they look like they have been blown up like balloons. I haven't done anything out of ordinary and I'm wondering what may have caused it. Anyone ever experienced this before? If yes, was it something serious? Oh, by the way, I am not pregnant, so we can rule that out

Long standing in heavy weight and over stress causes swelling of the feet, in like this situations have to take salt restricted diet for few days and keep your legs elevated high when you sit and sleep.

Problem in kidney functioning can also cause legs swollen. So please consult a doctor as soon as possible and post your update here.

Try taking your socks off for a few days, if you haven't already, sometimes they hold in heat. Laying off on the salt helps too. Mine stay swollen for days if I've been wearing tennies or have eaten something with salt-especially in the summer.

Thank you for all your comments and suggestions dear friends. I think my body was very tired at the time I posted this thread. I have been drinking more water and elevating my feet while resting at night. They seem to be okay now, but if it happens again, I will definitely consult my doctor.

hmm.. that's strange. Have you asked your doc yet? I've always heard that it's extra water in your body. Some people take water pills to correct the issue.

The only time my feet have ever been swollen is when I've walked more the usual. I would look into it further. Sorry I'm not much help

No problem at all My feet feel much better actually. As I mentioned above, I think it was mostly from fatigue.
